TungChoy Admin - 02/03/2013 Re: Review: Super Jubilee & Super Engineer SKX007 from tungchoy
Next I tried the Super Jubilee. This bracelet is not as substantial as the Super Engineer, but is still much more solid feeling than the stock Jubilee. It has all solid links with a custom fitted solid end link (SEL) for the 007. Since the Super Jubilee is not as flexible/twisty as the regular Jubilee, it's not quite as comfortable but is very close. The weight feels very good on the wrist. The appearance is sporty but a bit more refined with the horizontal link bars and polished middle links. The SEL sits fairly tight in position, fits perfectly flush up against the case, and protrudes a bit beyond the lug ends. This bracelet is a 22/18 so it tapers noticeably to the clasp, which contributes to it's lighter weight. This bracelet has the same generic design clasp but is slightly smaller, and has the slightest bit of a rattle.

TungChoy Admin - 02/03/2013 Props to Tungchoy for great customer service
So about a month or so ago I ordered and received a nice Super Jubilee bracelet for my modded 007 that I got from Jake B.
It's a nice looking bracelet, with solid end links and screw adjustments. It really gave a whole new look from the rubber band that the watch was on.
Well, about a week and a half ago the watch fell off while at work. Turns out a screw fell out from the attachment where the band attached to the end link. My co-workers and I spent about 10 minutes searching on the floor, but couldn't find it. Since I had never removed or adjusted the screws on the end links, I e-mailed customer service at Tungchoy requesting a replacement screw, and Stella promptly replied. She told me not to worry, that she would send me out a replacement and a spare right away. The screw arrived yesterday, and I changed it out today. We're back in business again.
I realize that something small like a screw is no big thing, but it speaks volumes to me when a company goes the extra mile to remain responsive to its customers, even about little things.
I'll certainly look at their selections first, when I next need a new strap or bracelet.
Thank you for JFK3531

Ian Morgan - 09/17/2011 This bracelet is well made and makes the watch feel quite heavy. I fitted it within ten minutes and the hardest part is getting the ends into the watch head. Once fitted there is no movement there using the supplied 2.5mm fat bars. Its very easy to adjust with a small precision screwdriver and then you realise how well this bracelet is made. I would have expected to pay more for a bracelet of this quality. Thank you Stella. |
